Question: What are the neighbouring territories of the block – any manufacturing/industrial territories?
Answer:
Naujasis Antakalnis is a neighbour to Dvarčionys Geomorphologic Reservation covering a 110 ha area with a picturesque Dvarčionys valley. A little further on – Kairėnai Botanical Garden – a 150 ha territory holds 21 species of tress, 20 species of bushes, 11 species of shrubs and subshrubs, medicinal herbs, various fruiters and berry shrubs, flowers, also genetic collections. The remaining neighbourhood consists of low upbuilding volume territories – communal gardens, territories of agricultural purpose. Western section of the block holds a water pool with surface area - 1,18 ha. Area of a planned beach - 0,7 ha.
